La Pine Park & Recreation: Kids Programs
Coming Together for a Healthy Community!
La Pine Park & Recreation is having a summer program for kids.
La Pine Park and Recreations Summer Kids Program began on Monday, June 16 at the White School Park Building. The target age range for this program is age 7 – 12 years old. Some of the weekly themes are: Wilderness Survival Week, Music Week, Natural History Week, Safety Week and so on. Many volunteers will be participating and offering their expertise on these subjects. The Program will be closed the week of Independence Day.
LPRD Summer Kids serves not only our most precious resource, our kids, but serves a need for childcare for the working parent. Thus, the program will be offered from 7am to 6pm Monday through Friday. The fee is be $10 per day per child and $7 per day per additional child. In order for the program to continue through the summer, we need more kids! Come on down and check it out!

To register, download the registration form, and send to the LPRD office at La Pine Park Adventure, attn: Nick Wavers, PO Box 664, La Pine, OR 97739. You may also drop off the registration form at the White School Park office M-F between 7am and 6pm.
To make a pledge, download the pledge form and mail to LPRD. Your pledge allows us to buy materials and educational supplies for the program. It will also help us to pay for background checks for our volunteers and staff involved in the program.
