La Pine Parks & Recreation Special District serves an 85 square mile area in Southern Deschutes County. See the map. LPRD is one of few unfunded special districts in the State of Oregon, it operates by volunteerism, grants and donations. The park generates funds by its facilties rentals and pop can processing, pop cans are donated by the community.

The La Pine Park and Recreation District are looking for good volunteers! LPRD invites you to learn about the District by attending meetings and asking questions. If you are a resident of the La Pine Park and Recreation District, please consider volunteering your time as a Board Member. Email office@lapineparks.org for more information.
